LOVE this place!
Of course when you first try to look for it, you may not find it. hehe. Why? It is kind of like a hole in the wall… just a bit. But it’s awesome!
Such sweet women there who are more than willing to help with problems on projects, get patterns, talk about yarn and just chit chat.
Their needle and hook selection is rather good. They also have cross-stitching available and have accessories. Why not support local places that have a special place in our hearts? hehe.
They do have patterns for sale and projects on display. They also have lessons there, just check out the link.
Gotta love it! :D

Ever heard of yarn painting? Really? haha. Neither have I!
Here’s a link to the article I came upon talking about the Huichol Indians and the paintings are traditionally made of yarn, board and beeswax!!! Cool beans! :D

haha. I had no idea such a thing existed until about yesterday or today. But who knew graffiti would take on such a crazy role as such? haha. HIGH FIVE!
I almost want to do yarn bombing myself… well, maybe. haha. Maybe if I was more in the city. haha. Plus, seems like it involves a lot of time. I’ll just keep contemplating it. :P

So, also found someone who wrote about knitting in the bookstore. Decided to post the website. :) Pretty awesome. Some free yarn patterns also.
OMG!!! Awesome knitting person that makes cartoons! Hilarious cartoons I swear. It makes me laugh every single time and we just happened upon his book at Borders the other day. You should check it out! Now I wonder if he has a tumblr so I can go follow him. hahaha. :D
